Next week’s show will be going on head to head against the WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. On USA, fans will see Bret Hart on WWE programming for the first time since The Montreal Screwjob. TNA will counter this by what appears to be an arm wrestling match between the 66 year old Bob Armstrong and Konan. This week’s main event featured the first six sides of steel match on Spike TV. This cage match featured Team 3D vs Team Canada.
- Mike Tenay is in the ring discussing how every match match at Lockdown will be held in a steel cage. He then introduces Samoa Joe to the crowd to announce his opponent. His opponent at Lockdown will be Sabu.
- Team 3D is interviewed in the back and says that after tonight, Team 3D will no longer be a thorn in their sides.
Chris Sabin, Sonjay Dutt, & Jay Lethal vs Diamonds in the Rough - The team of Sabin, Dutt, & Lethal will be representing Team USA in the upcoming World X Cup. The Diamonds in the Rough have been getting humiliated by The Chicago White Sox on a constant basis. I wonder who will win this one? Luckily for The Diamonds, Simon Diamond is not suffering any ill effects from the chair shot he received from Ozzie Guillen at White Sox training camp. Chris Sabin hist the cradle shock on David Young to get the win. Winners: Chris Sabin, Sonjay Dutt, & Jay Lethal
- Scott D’Amore and Larry Zbysko are arguing about tonight’s match. D’Amore says that while Team Canada will fight tonight, D’Amore will not forget this. Referee Slick Johnson then approaches Zbysko about refereeing tonight’s match. They argue for a few minutes before the show goes to break.
- Sting is interviewed from home. He is complaining about Jarrett’s army filming his family. He says that for TNA to succeed, the cancer of Jeff Jarrett must be cut away. He has asked to be reinstated to TNA on one condition that TNA agreed to. He wants to battle Jarrett’s army in a War Games style match that will also feature weapons.
- Scott Steiner and Jeff Jarrett come to the ring to talk about the Sting situation.
The Naturals vs ??? - Before their opponents are announced, Steiner and Jarrett attack both men and give them a severe beating. Winner: No Contest
- Andy Douglas of the Naturals is placed in an ambulance.
- Konan and Homicide are questioned about beating up Machete. He says that they Machete was embarrassing the team. The James Gang and Bob Armstrong come out and the LAX runs off. Bob Armstrong then challenges Konan to an arm wrestling match.
Steel Cage Match: Team 3D vs Team Canada (Young/Roode) - The referee throws all the other men of Team Canada and Coach D’Amore out of the ringside area. The rules of this match are Texas tornado style, all men in the ring at the same time. The match gets bloody very quickly and TNA uses this opportunity to sell their new DVD, Best of the Bloodiest Brawls. Team 3D hits the 3D on Eric Young to get the win. As soon as the match ends, the rest of Team Canada and America’s Most Wanted storm the ring and beat up Team 3D. They even put Bubba Ray through a table. Meanwhile outside the cage, AMW easily disposes of Team USA as they try to enter the ring. If Lethal, Dutt, & Sabin, the representatives of Team USA in the World X Cup being booked like that, what message is TNA sending us about the X Cup? Winners: Team 3D
- Alex Shelley and James Mitchell stalk Christian Cage’s wife and make a paparazzi style film of her. James Mitchell approaches her and threatens her and her husband.
