Tonight’s show features Randy Orton attempt to destroy the bond between his two WrestleMania opponents. Randy’s actions cause some major upsets on tonight’s edition of SmackDown!. In other WrestleMania related news, Booker T is given a surprise partner for his battle with The Boogey Man and the final spot in the Money in the Bank match was decided by a battle royal.
- The show starts off with Randy Orton proclaiming that he will win the World Championship at WrestleMania when he beats Kurt Angle and Rey Mysterio.
Battle Royal for the final spot in the Money in the Bank Match: - The final four combatants are MNM, Lashley, and Tatanka. MNM eliminate Tatanka leaving the tag team champs with a 2 on 1 advantage. After double teaming Lashley for a few minutes, Lashley overpowers both men and eliminates them both at the same time to gain entrance in the Money in the Bank Match at WrestleMania. Winner: Lashley
- Booker T and Sharmell are summoned to the ring by SmackDown! GM Teddy Long. He announces that he is going to make Booker’s match at WrestleMania against The Boogey Man a handicap match. After Booker T signs the contract, Teddy Long announces that Booker’s tag team partner will be his wife, Sharmell.
Rey Mysterio vs Finlay - When Rey is about to win the match with the West Coast Pop, Randy Orton comes from the back and delivers the RKO. Finlay then easily pins Rey for the win. Winner: Finlay
Chris Benoit vs William Regal - The outcome of this match is never in doubt. Chris makes Regal submit to the crippler cross face while Benoit’s WrestleMania opponent, JBL, looks on in disgust. Winner: Chris Beniot
Kurt Angle vs Mark Henry - This is a rematch from the Royal Rumble. Just like in Rey’s match, Randy Orton tries to cost his WrestleMania opponent the match. Before Randy can hit the RKO on angle, Rey Mysterio stops him from interfering, but in the process costs his ally Kurt Angle the match. After the match, Mysterio and Angle start to fight while Randy just smirks at destroying the friendship of his two WrestleMania opponents. Winner: Mark Henry
