The surprise of the night was the TNA debut of a former WCW World Champion. Other highlights include a title change and some great matches. This is the best TNA PPV event of the year and arguably the best wrestling PPV so far this year.
Alex Shelley vs Jay Lethal - When Lethal attempted the Dragon’s suplex, Shelley was able to break the hold and hit sliced bread #2 to get the win. Winner: Alex Shelley
Lance Hoyt vs Maverick Matt w/Traci - During the match, David Young and Alex Shelley are in the rafters looking for Sting and handing out flyers. The flyers were asking if you have seen this man with a picture of Sting. They throw some from the rafters and some land at ringside. Traci grabbed one and showed it to Matt. Matt was distracted by this and Hoyt hit the big boot to get the win. Winner: Lance Hoyt
The Naturals (Stevens/Douglas) vs Team Canada (Roode/Young) w/Coach D’Amore - When The Naturals attempt the natural disaster on Bobby Roode they are distracted by Coach D’Amore. David Young then hits Andy Douglas with the hockey stick which allows Roode to make the pin. Winners: Team Canada
The LAX (Konan/Machete/Homicide) vs The James Gang (Kip/BG) & Bob Armstrong - Bullet Bob beat up Konan then saved Kip from a blind side chair shot from Homicide. After Homicide was hit with the chair, Machete was alone in the ring with his 3 opponents. After they took turns beating him up, Kip hit the boat ride on Machete to get the win. Winners: The James Gang & Bob Armstrong
International X: PUMA vs Petey Williams vs Chris Sabin vs Sonjay Dutt - Petey hit Sonjay with the Canadian Destroyer. He then attempts it on Sabin but PUMA breaks it up. Sabin then hits the cradle shock on PUMA to get the win. The crowd then chants that was awesome for a few minutes. Winner: Chris Sabin
Jeff Jarrett, Abyss, & America’s Most Wanted w/Gail Kim & Jackie Gayda vs Team 3D, Ron Killings, & Rhino - The match started off as a brawl throughout the iMPACT zone before settling into a traditional match. Towards the end of the match, Jackie turned on Jarrett’s army. The match ended when Jarrett hit the stroke on Killings to get the win. After the match, Jarret gave Sting a 10 count to get to the ring. When Sting didn’t appear, Jarret proclaimed that Sting is a quitter and now he is setting his sights on the NWA title. Winners: Jeff Jarrett, Abyss, & America’s Most Wanted
Ultimate X: Champ Samoa Joe vs AJ Styles vs Chris Daniels - At around the 10 minute mark, AJ & Daniels hit a double muscle buster on Samoa Joe. A few moments later, Styles hit the Pele on Daniels. Styles climbed across the ropes on top of the ring and grabbed the title. As he was about to unhook the title, Samoa Joe hit him with a chair. Daniels then kicks the chair into Joe’s face. Daniels then climbs the ropes, wraps his legs around the ropes above the ring, slides across the cables and grabs the belt to win the match and championship.Winner: Chris Daniels
NWA Title: Champ Christian Cage vs Monty Brown - Dave Hebner is the referee. Christian Cage is going into this match with cracked ribs due to the pounce he took off the ramp and into the ringside barrier last week. The Alpha Male takes shots at those ribs whenever he has a chance. Monty dominates the match and is about to win when Christian is able to hit the unprettier on Monty to get the win. After the match, Jeff Jarret comes out. He starts to fight with Christian when Jarrett’s army of Abyss, Team Canada, Monty Brown, & AMW attack Christian. Rhino comes out to make the save ut is outnumbered. From the crowd, Steve Borden comes out and cleans house. When the ring has just Jarrett & Borden in it, he applies the Scorpion Deathlock to Jarrett. Scott Steiner comes from the back and beats up Steve Borden. Steiner put him n the Steiner Recliner and Jarret smashed a guitar over Borden’s head.Winner: Christian Cage
