Will Marty Jannetty join the Vince McMahon “Kiss My A**” club? Will Mick Foley respond to the WrestleMania challenge made by Edge last week? Will Candice Michelle be the women’s champion before her Playboy issue comes out? What will the main event of Saturday’s Night Main Event be? With SmackDown! also being recorded in the same arena tonight, what SmackDown! star will make their presence felt tonight? Who else will be inducted into the Hall of Fame? What will Hulk Hogan be doing WrestleMania weekend? This week’s episode of RAW will answer these and many more questions.
- Edge & Lita come to the ring to get Mick Foley’s response to their WrestleMania challenge last week. Foley says no to Edge’s challenge because he has nothing to prove to him. Edge says that Foley has never had a career defining WrestleMania moment while he is undefeated at WrestleMania. Foley then challenges Edge to a hardcore match. Mick Foley then enters the ring with a bat wrapped in barbed wire which causes Edge & Lita flee the ring.
Tag Team Title Match: Champs Kane and The Big Show vs Val Venis & The Big Show - Val & Viscera earned this title shot by winning a match on Heat. The Big Show & Kane give a double choke slam to the 500+ pound Viscera to get the win. Winners: Kane & The Big Show
- Ric Flair is interviewed in the back and admits that he is 57 years old. He says that last week was not the end of his final title run. He says that he will be a champion again.
- Shawn Michaels talks to Marty Jannetty about having to kiss Vince’s a**. Marty admits that he has no car and is living in a friends house. He is desperate and needs a job.
- Maria interviews Carlito in the back. Carlito says that there will be another Money in the Bank ladder match this year. He says that there will be three qualifying matches to enter the match tonight.
Money in the Bank Qualifying Match 1: Trevor Murdoch vs Rob Van Dam - RVD hits the 5 star frog splash to win the match and qualify for the money in the bank ladder match. Winner: Rob Van Dam
Women’s Title: Champ Trish Stratus w/Mickie James vs Candice Michelle w/Torrie Wilson - Mickie James is in the ring and announces her friend Trish to the ring. Torrie Wilson comes out and introduces her friend Candice. Candice does a sunset flip and holds Torrie’s hands to try to get the pin. The ref breaks up the move and Trish reverses the sunset flip to get the win. After the match Mickie gives Trish a hug at an awkward angle that freaks Trish out. Winner: Trish Stratus
- John Cena is interviewed by Coach in the ring. Before Cena gets a chance to speak, Triple H enters the ring. Triple H tells Coach to leave the ring. He will be conducting the interview. After 10 minutes of insulting each other, Vince McMahon appears on the video screen. He says that they will compete in a match as tag team partners against the three men in the SmackDown! main event at WrestleMania at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Money in the Bank Qualifying Match 2: I-C Champ Shelton Benjamin w/his mama vs Chavo Guerrero - The I-C title is not on the line in this match. When mama distracts the referee, Randy Orton enters the ring and hits the RKO on Chavo for revenge of what happened on SmackDown! last week. Shelton gets the easy pin. Winner: Shelton Benjamin
- It is announced that “Mean” Gene Okerlund will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. It is also announced that Hulk Hogan will be inducting Gene. The show will be broadcast on 4/1 at 11PM on USA network.
- Shawn Michaels enters Vince’s office and begs him to leave Marty out of their problems. Vince tells him that if he interferes tonight, Shawn will be the next person to join the club.
Money in the Bank Qualifying Match 3: Carlito vs Ric Flair - The ending of this match is very similar to the way Ric won the I-C championship from Carlito a few months ago. When Carlito was in control, he went to get his apple and started to eat it. Flair kicked Carlito and then pinned him while using the ropes. Winner: Ric Flair
- In the back, Vince is checking out his buttocks in the mirror.
- The Spirit Squad does a cheer to introduce Mr. McMahon to the ring. Vince calls Marty Jannetty to the ring. Marty says that he needs a job because he is very desperate. Vince says that Marty will be like everyone else in the arena that kisses their bosses a** every day. Vince tells Marty to get on his knees. Vince then pulls his pants down and says that he a magnificent a**. Marty says that he can’t do this and asks if there is another way in which he can gain employment. Vince calls Chris Masters to the ring. He then says that if Marty can break the master lock, he can gain employment. When Marty is about to break the hold, Vince kicks Marty. Chris Masters is then about to force Marty to kiss Vince’s a** when Shawn Michaels storms the ring. Marty and Chris fight to the back which leaves Shawn alone with Vince who can’t walk away because his pants are around his ankles. When Shawn is about to hit Vince, Shane McMahon enters the ring and knocks out Shawn with a chair to the head. Vince then says that Shane & Shawn will fight in a streetfight at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Shane then makes the unconscious Shawn kiss Vince’s a**. Vince says that now that Shawn has kissed his a**, Vince will kick Shawn’s at WrestleMania.
