The big announcement that will change the face of TNA can’t be made until 12:01 AM on 1/1/06. Lucky for them they will be broadcasting a special on Spike at that moment. That show will be main evented by America’s Most Wanted vs AJ Styles & Chris Daniels for the tag team titles.
The crowd is dressed in their New Year’s costumes and using their noisemakers through this show. In storyline news, Bob Armstrong’s attempts to reunite 4 Live Kru go very wrong and Jackie Gayda reveals why she is mad at Jeff Jarrett. Tonight’s main event is AJ Styles against America’s Most Wanted James Storm.
- Shane Douglas interviews Bob Armstrong about his attempts to get the 4 Live Kru to reunite. Bob says that Konnan is the key.
Monty Brown & Jeff Jarrett w/Gail Kim vs Kenny King & Sharkboy - Prior to Jeff getting to the ring, Jackie Gayda tries to slap Jeff. Security pulls her away. Jeff and Monty win with a double pin after Monty hits the Pounce on Kenny King and Jeff hit the stroke on Sharkboy. After the match, Sting’s music goes on. Winners: Monty Brown & Jeff Jarrett
- Don West asks Jackie Gayda what is going on with Jeff Jarrett. She claims that Jeff offered her a job and she gave up her current job to be on Spike TV. She is mad that Gail Kim is taking her spot and money. Jackie blackmails Jeff with some information she will give to TNA management if she doesn’t get her money
A1 w/Scott D’Amore vs Rhino - Rhino is seeking revenge on the members of Team Canada because of their interference at Turning Point. Rhino wins this glorified squash match with the gore. After the match, Rhino is about to beat up Scott D’Amore when Abyss attacks Rhyno. Abyss leaves Rhino lying in the ring after hitting the black hole slam. Winner: Rhino
- Bob Armstrong is talking to Konnan in the back. Konnan says he doesn’t like Kip and attacked him before he was going to be attacked. He feels that BG won’t forgive him. Bob talks to him about family and all the things he’s done for him. Konnan says that if Bob accompanies him, he will speak to the Kru.
Samoa Joe vs Roderick Strong - During the match, Shannon Moore is holding his X-Division needs to be punked signed. Security takes him away. Dave Hebner is at ringside taking notes. It is announced that he has been hired as a consultant for TNA. The third squash match of the night ends after Joe applies the rear naked choke hold to Roderick. Winner: Samoa Joe
- In the parking lot, Bob Armstrong is being beaten up by Konnan, Apollo, and Homicide.
James Storm w/ Chris Harris & Gail Kim vs AJ Styles - The 3 on 1 advantage is too much for AJ to overcome. With the ref distracted, Storm hits AJ over the head with a beer bottle and then hits the superkick to get the win. After the match, Christopher Daniels comes to ringside and shows the ref all the broken glass in the ring. Larry Zbysko comes to ringside as the show goes to break. After the break, Zbysko announces that AMW will be facing AJ Styles & Chris Daniels for the tag team belts. AMW then attacks AJ & Chris from behind and Christian Cage makes the save. Winner: James Storm
