12/12 RAW Report

Monday December 12, 2005
Tonight’s show features 5 matches to determine who will enter the Elimination Chamber at New Year’s Revolution to fight John Cena. The champ is scheduled to fight in the first ever “You can’t see me Match”.

As a reminder, next week’s show will be the Tribute to the Troops that was recorded last week in Afghanistan. A commercial during the tonight's show was for MSNBC’s Big Idea with Donny Deutsche. There will be WWE stars talking about the trip on his show, Thursday night at 10:00 PM.

- The show starts off with Vince McMahon on the top of the ramp. He announces that there will be an interview process for the vacant GM position. For tonight’s show, Vince has declared himself interim GM. He has announced that by the end of the night that the 5 men who will fight in the Elimination Chamber match will be determined tonight.

Kurt Angle vs Ric Flair - This match ends when Angle brings a chair into the ring. With the ref distracted, Angle hits Flair with his gold medal to get the 3 count and a spot in the Elimination Chamber. After the match, Angle grabs the mic and says that he refused to go to Afghanistan and risk his life. He feels that as an American hero and Olympic Gold medalist, he is too good to go over there. He hates that the people of Boston desecrate his good name. As revenge, on video monitor, Daivari tries to desecrate the statues of Boston sports heroes. John Cena stops Daivari and insults Angle for talking bad about the troops. Winner: Kurt Angle

- Edge insults Flair in the back and asks him if he wants to beat up a driver on the Mass Turnpike.

- Shelton Benjamin confronts Shawn Michael’s about their tag team match last week. Shelton says that Shawn was too interested in being the show stopper and not a team player. Shelton says he has a new attitude and will beat Carlito tonight and win the Elimination Chamber.

Shelton Benjamin vs Carlito - Shelton displays a more aggressive attitude in the ring. After hitting Carlito with the T-Bone suplex, Shelton grabs Carlito’s apple. When he tries to spit it in Carlito’s face, Carlito rolls up Shelton for the win. Winner: Carlito

- Trevor Murdoch bumps into Vince and says he wants to be GM. Vince says that Trevor’s chewing tobacco habit is disgusting. Vince enters his office and Candace tries to seduce him for the job. While Vince is enjoying his seducing, Kurt Angle & Daivari barge into the office as the show goes to commercial.

The Big Show vs Shawn Michaels - Even though both men are former champions, these two men have never fought each other 1 on 1. After a back and forth battle, Shawn hits the superkick on TBS and only stuns him. He tries to give him a second one but TBS gives Shawn the choke slam. Triple H comes out from the back and hits Shawn with a chair. The ref disqualifies TBS for this. Winner: Shawn Michaels by DQ

- Angle is in Vince’s office and demands a match against Cena tonight. Vince says that he isn’t Bischoff and will not be talked to like that. He warns Angle to never interrupt him. He also makes the first ever “You Can’t See me Match” between Cena and Daivari for tonight.

Viscera vs Chris Masters - Chris Masters wins this glorified squash match with the Master Lock. As a result, Masters will be in his first Elimination Chamber match. Winner: Chris Masters

- Matt Striker has a black board at the top of the ramp and starts teaching the crowd about family values. His segment was very insulting to the crowd but very funny. I wish I could repeat what he was said but I would probably be fired.

- Chris Nowinski is talking to Vince when Dusty Rhodes enters Vince’s office. On WWE Unlimited, Dusty talks Vince in Dusty language and leaves Vince speechless.

#1 Contender’s Match for Women’s Title: Mickie James vs Victoria - Trish Stratus is guest commentator for the match. Mickie James cleanly wins the match with a Tornado DDT. As a result, Mickie will face Trish for the title at New Year’s Revolution. Winner: Mickie James

Triple H vs Kane - After the inevitable ref bump, Triple H brings the sledge hammer to the ring. The Big Show comes to the ring to save his partner and gain revenge on Triple H. TBS & Kane give Triple H a double choke slam. TBS wakes the ref up to make the three count. Winner: Kane

You Can’t See Me Match: John Cena vs Daivari - John Cena has a black bag placed over his head. It takes the fans a few minutes to realize that they should be helping Cena by their cheering when he points in the direction of Daivari. Once Cena grabs Daivari, he puts him in the STFU to get the submission victory. Angle immediately attacks the blinded Cena. Once Cena takes the bag off his head, he chases Angle from the ring and gives the FU to Daivari. Winner: John Cena
