Three titles are on the line and several change hands during this edition of SmackDown! This is the final SmackDown! before the big RAW vs SmackDown! Survivor Series match on Sunday. Will the RAW stars invade this week? You’ll have to read to find out.
- Teddy Long is in the parking lot with security. He tells them to be prepared for the superstars from RAW.
U.S. Title Match: Champion Booker T w/Sharmell vs Chris Benoit - The match goes to commercial break after Benoit has his shoulder rammed into the ring post. When the match returns, Booker is working on Benoit’s shoulder. A few minutes later, the ref gets knocked out. Benoit applies the Sharpshooter when a second referee comes out. Booker reaches the ropes to get the hold broken. Benoit follows with three German Suplexes. Benoit goes up the ropes and is distracted by Sharmell. Booker T then hits a superplex. Both men are in a pinning position and each man is counted down for the three-count by a referee. The show goes to commercial break with the referees arguing over the winner of the bout. When the show comes back from break, GM Teddy Long is in the ring. Teddy Long declares the title held up. The champion will be determined by a best-of-seven series between Booker T & Benoit. Winner: No winner and the title is held up
- JBL sees a strange van in the parking lot. He thinks it is a RAW star and he opens it up. Inside the van is The Boogey Man and he recites another poem.
James and Chad Dick vs Animal & Heidenreich - A few weeks ago, The Dicks cost Animal & Heidenreich the tag team titles. This match starts as a brawl outside the ring. When Animal has the advantage in the match, he is hit with baby oil in the eyes. He is then rolled up in a cradle and is pinned when James Dick uses the ropes to illegally keep Animal’s shoulders down. Winner: The Dicks
Ken Kennedy vs Matt Hardy - The match is back and forth until Hardy misses a moonsault. Kennedy then uses the ring post to administer punishment to Hardy. Matt gets a second wind and hits the side effect. He unsuccessfully attempts the twist of fate. The two men then fight on the top rope and Matt hits Kennedy with a bulldog off the top rope. They then fight outside the ring and Kennedy brings a chair into the ring. When the ref tries to take it away, he hits accidentally hits the ref in the stomach with it. Winner: Matt Hardy via DQ
- Eric Bischoff is in the parking lot and he warns Long that they are coming and are much closer than he thinks.
Melina w/MNM vs Christy Hemme - Hemme gets the first punch in but Joey Mercury shoves her down. The referee bans the tag team champs from ringside. Christy is in control until she angers Melina by pulling her hair. An angry Melina dominates most of the match and gets the win after throwing Christy to the mat face first. Winner: Melina
- Randy Orton and Batista are in Batista’s locker room. Randy says he hopes Batista doesn’t use the injured shoulder as an excuse when he wins the title tonight. Batista says he remembers that Randy lost the title to Triple H and he won the title from Triple H. He also says that he left Evolution on his own terms while Randy was kicked out of the group. Randy leaves while staring at Batista’s taped shoulder.

- Carlito and Chris Masters walk to their seats in the front row.
Cruiserweight Title: Champion Nunzio w/Big Vito vs Juventud Guerrera w/Super Crazy & Psicosis - Juventud has the advantage until he misses a placha due to Vito’s interference. Juventud gets his second wind and hits the Juvi Driver on Nunzio to get the win and the title. Winner: Juventud Guerrera
William Regal & Paul Birchill vs Rey Mysterio & JBL w/Jillian Hall - Mysterio & JBL destroy their opponents but before they can get the win, Shawn Michaels hits the super kick on JBL. When security chases Michaels out of the ring, Carlito and Chris Masters enter the ring and beat up Mysterio & JBL until the SmackDown! locker room empties out and chases them from the ring. Winner: No Contest
Orlando Jordan vs Lashley - Lashley dominates the match with his power and hits the dominator in less than a minute to get the win. Winner: Lashley
- Teddy Long is the parking lot where all the security guards are on the floor after being beaten up. Teddy tells a referee to get all the SmackDown! stars from the locker room to protect the ring for the main event.
No Holds Barred Match for the World’s Heavyweight Championship: Champion Batista vs Randy Orton - The ring is surrounded by SmackDown! stars to protect the combatants from a RAW invasion. Batista’s shoulder is heavily taped. A minute into the match, most of the RAW stars run to the ring. A big battle occurs between the rosters. The battle ends with The Big Show and Kane giving Batista a double choke slam through the announce table when the show ends. Winner: No Contest
