Tonight’s edition of RAW is shown on tape delay from England. This is the final RAW before The Survivor Series. The feud between RAW and SmackDown! continues to heat up as tonight’s edition of RAW features a hospitalization, a kidnapping, and an inter-promotional lumberjack match between JBL and Shawn Michaels.
- Highlights of RAW invading SmackDown! two weeks ago are shown before the opening credits.
- Team RAW (Michaels/Kane/Big Show/Masters/Carlito) comes to ring with Eric Bischoff. They are talking about their Survivor Series match when Team SmackDown! (Batista/Mysterio/Lashley/JBL/Orton) and Teddy Long arrive at the arena’s parking lot. The RAW team leaves the ring and is headed to the parking lot when the show goes to a commercial break.
- The 10 men start to brawl in the parking lot. During the brawl, off screen, Batista is choke slammed by Kane and The Big Show on a car. Security breaks up the brawl and Batista is taken away in JBL’s limo to get medical help. This appears to be the way they are writing Batista out of the show so he can rehab his back injury.
Ric Flair vs Trevor Murdoch - Ric Flair loses the advantage when he misses a move off the tope rope. A few minutes later, Murdoch misses a knee drop and Flair works over the leg. The dirtiest player in the game can’t get the figure four applied but rolls up Murdoch and pulls the tights to get the pin. After the match, Triple H appears on the Titantron and threatens to end Flair’s career on Sunday at The Survivor Series. Winner: Ric Flair
Rob Conway vs Tajiri - The match starts on WWE Unlimited. When USA returns from commercial break, JBL comes out and beats up both men and the referee. JBL calls Chris Masters out. Eric Bischoff comes to ringside and makes a match between Shawn Michaels and JBL for tonight. Winners: No Contest

Kurt Angle vs Shelton Benjamin - The fans are censored when Angle comes to the ring. Daivari is the special guest referee for this match. This is an excellent match featuring two of the best amateur wrestlers in WWE history. Out of nowhere, Angle applies the ankle lock. When Benjamin grabs the ropes, Daivari refuses to make Angle release the hold. Benjamin reverses the hold into a pinning move but Daivari turns the wrestlers over and makes the pin count. After the match, Angle censors the fans again and informs them there will be some big news announced in regards to his Survivor Series title match against John Cena. Winner: Kurt Angle
- The show returns from commercial break with Angle and Daivari still in the ring. Angle claims to have associated with Daivari because they have both been unjustly abused by the fans. Angle announces that Daivari is now his personal referee and will referee all of his matches including his title match against John Cena on Sunday. Daivari grabs the mic and speaks in his foreign language. John Cena then appears on the Titantron and asks other WWE superstars what they think of Kurt Angle and whether he s***s. First he enters the Diva’s locker room where Candice tries to seduce him. Then he enters Snitsky’s locker room where Snitsky is giving a massage to Tyson Tomko. The next door he opens is The Boogey Man’s and he gives another scary poem. Cena decides to stop asking the WWE superstars and leaves the backstage area. He starts asking some fans and the all think that Angle s***s. The crowd starts chanting You S*** towards Angle and Angle is unable to censor them. Cena enters the ring and attacks Angle, forcing him and Daivari to flee the ring.
Triple H vs Val Venis - Val Venis takes the advantage to start off but when he follows Triple H outside the ring, Triple H clobbers Venis with a chair shot to the head. Triple H continues his assault on Val Venis to send a message to Ric Flair. Winner: Val Venis by DQ
- Teddy Long is outside Bischoff’s office demanding to see him. Bischoff calls Long into his office as the show goes to commercial break.
- The meeting occurs on WWE Unlimited. Long says that Batista is in the hospital and the rest of the SmackDown! team is coming back to the arena. Bischoff decides to make the match between Michaels & JBL tonight a lumberjack match.
Candice Michelle w/Victoria vs Mickie James w/Trish Stratus - During the match, two masked men abduct Trish Stratus. While Candice is distracted by this, she is attacked by Victoria and is then pinned by Candice. Winner: Candice Michelle
- Trish was kidnapped by MNM. Melina challenges Trish to a title match at The Survivor Series. Melina then kicks Trish while she is tied up. Jerry Lawler then leaves the announce booth to find Trish.
- Maria interviews Shawn Michaels and gives a plug to his new autobiography. Shawn talks about his lumberjack match tonight.
Lumberjack Match: Shawn Michaels vs JBL - The match is even until JBL throws Shawn Michaels outside the ring to get beaten up by Team SmackDown! Team RAW saves Michaels and puts him back in the ring as the show goes to commercial break. When the match returns, JBL is in control until Michaels gets his second wind. When Michaels is about to hit JBL with the sweet chin music, the SD stars pull JBL out of the ring. Michaels takes the fight to Team SD. JBL gains the advantage with a big boot to the face. Shawn reveres a superplex attempt and when he tries a move off the top rope, Orton pushes Michaels off the ropes. JBL attempts the clothesline from hell and Michaels winds up hitting JBL with the sweet chin music. All the lumberjacks enter the ring and The Big Show and Kane clear the ring. Batista then comes from the back with a steel pipe and attacks The Big Show & Kane. Despite his shoulder being heavily taped, Batista hits a Batista Bomb on The Big Show as the telecast ends. Winner: No Contest
